  5. Follow the prompts.
  6. Afterwards, try to download new apps again from Play Store.

Solution 2: Clear cache and data

Here’s how to clear cache and data:

  1. On your home screen, go to Settings > Applications > Google Play Store

Nevertheless, here’s how to turn your Android screen on:

  • Go to Settings app.
  • Navigate to Display and then tap on Sleep.
  • Select “Never” or longest time available to prevent your device from sleeping.
  • Afterwards, rerun the download process on Google Play Store.
