Mario Kart Tour Comes to Canada in Late September

Fans of everything Mario related will be glad to know that Nintendo is launching the Mario Kart Tour for mobile devices. Android and iOS users will be able to enjoy the game on their devices from the 25th of September.

The Mario Kart Tour is active on Twitter, so be sure to follow the page for any updates the company might post until the 25 of September. If you are an iOS user then you can pre-register to the Mario Kart Tour on your device.

About Mario Kart Tour

The way the tour will work is that there will be racing tracks available to play that will change every 2 weeks. The new tracks will be inspired by the geography of real cities. There will also be classic tracks from the Mario Kart franchise.

The description of the game in iOS reads as follows: “With just one finger, you can steer and drift with ease, sling devastating items as you go for the gold in cups filled with new and classic Mario Kart courses.”

The Frenzy mode will be available on Mario Kart and it might sound like more of a challenge. But, in fact, it’s more like a crazy reward mode as you get an unlimited supply of items in some cases. You can even activate a short burst of invincibility with the mode.

Mario Kart Tour availability

Mario Kart will be free to play on mobile but it will have in-app purchases for the more intense user. If you are an iOS user, make sure you have 193.5 MB of free space on your device because that is the download size of the game.

Many Mario fans have been patiently waiting for the tour to start. It was supposed to launch this March but it got delayed until September. The beta version has been released in Japan to tease the full version of the game.
