Opera Browser Beta 53.0.2562.140783: Available to Download with New Features

We have all heard of the Opera Browser. It comes for Android, iOS, Microsoft Windows, Linux, and macOS. It was made by Opera Software as that is a Norwegian company.

The Opera Browser is a Chromium-based browser that makes the most out of the Blink layout engine. People adore it because of its different user interface and many other excellent features.

The browser was made at Telenor. At first, it was just a research project, back in 1994. The Opera Software bought it in 1995. For the first ten years of its life, it was a commercial software. It was made with its own Presto layout engine. This version of the browser got many awards, but due to the transition to Chromium in 2013, Presto ended it.

The browser comes with three mobile versions: Opera Mobile, Opera Touch, and Opera Mini. There is also a gaming browser, called Opera GX which has just got released on the 11th of June, 2019.

What are some of its features?

The browser comes with security features: you have the option to delete the private data, like the HTTP cookies. You can also delete your browsing history, your cache, and the passwords. This means that you can erase any personal data you have in there.

When you visit a site, the browser will show you a security badge in the address bar. This badge will show details about the specific site – it will also show you security certificates. It also warns you when you deal with a suspicious web page – it comes by default. It checks the sites against many databases of websites that are known to be harming.

After a misunderstanding, in 2016, a free VPN service was implemented in the browser. This allowed encrypted access to the websites.

The team behind the browser worked on stability and added fixes for usability.
