Fortnite Season 8, Week 8: Challenge Guide – Treasure Map Signpost

Get back into the fight and check out the new challenges that are available in the eight week of the Season 8! Here is a list with all the challenges you must complete before week 8 ends:

The Free Set of Challenges:

  1. Stage 1: Search the treasure map signpost in Paradise Palms (1) -> 2 Battle Star
  2. Use Vending Machines in different matches (3) -> 5 Battle Stars
  3. Deal damage to opponents while using at least one balloon (100) -> 10 Battle Stars

The Battle Pass Challenges:

  1. Search Jigsaw Puzzle Pieces under bridges and in caves (7) -> 5 Battle Stars
  2. Stage 1: Dial the Durrr Burger number on the big telephone west of Fatal Fields (1) -> 2 Battle Stars
  3. Eliminate opponents at Dusty Divot or Lucky Landing (7) -> 10 Battle Stars
  4. Eliminate opponents from at least 50m away (2) -> 10 Battle Stars

The first free challenge is also a bit tricky – “search the treasure map signpost found in Paradise Palms.”

The first part of the challenge is pretty easy:

  1. Go to Paradise Palms, right at the center of the area. You will spot a small alley.
  2. Stay on the rooftops and you will see a map signpost on a wall right under your feet.

The second part of the challenge requires a couple more steps:

  1. Follow the map to find the Battle Star.
  2. The map leads to Frosty Flights, right at the end of the runway.

That’s it, you have completed the challenge! Here is the map to where you can find the Battle Star:

Make sure you complete all challenges to unlock all the cosmetics, as Season 8 will soon end! Season 9 should start on May 8, and could focus on the excavation site in Loot Lake.
