WhatsApp Android Beta Update Available to Download with New Improvements

WhatsApp is one of the platforms owned by Facebook, and the messaging app is getting many new features from time to time. Of course, we are talking about features that are under beta testing until release. What we have found new is that WhatsApp is working to have a new Vacation Mode. This feature will archive all your muted conversations automatically.

What Are the New Features for WhatsApp?

The new feature was called “Vacation Mode,” and after that, they changed it to “Ignore Archived Chats.” The archive chat mode is now automatically unarchiving it if you get a new message. With this new feature things will change, because when it’s enabled, all the new messages you will receive in an archived chat will stay like that, archived.  The feature will be available in WhatsApp Settings – Notifications – enable Ignore Archived Chats. That means that archives will not get unarchived until you do that. This feature was something that users were asking for a long time since the Archive Chat feature was added. Also, you will find a new Archived cell in the Chats tab when you will slide down the chats list.

However, if you have updated your WhatsApp version, you will see the changes will be enabled by default. When you open the new section that it’s under development yet, WhatsApp will present the new Ignore Archived Chats option. We also know that the old version of Vacation Mode doesn’t unarchive the muted chat, but with Ignore Archived Chats, muted or unmuted chats won’t be archived at all.

Finally, we don’t know when WhatsApp will enable the Ignore Archived Chats feature from the 2.19.101 beta version; because it needs many improvements and they are working on the development part before releasing it to users.
