Is Disney Plus Coming to Nintendo Switch? New Scenario

Disney Plus made a lot of fans happy these days after it became available in Europe, with a related app being available on the PS4 and Xbox One consoles. Disney+ is a subscription video-on-demand streaming service that includes content from the Disney brand itself, Marvel, Pixar, Star Wars, and National Geographic.

The most obvious question now that most people are asking themselves about Disney Plus is if the service will also become available for Nintendo Switch. As no release date for Nintendo’s console has been announced, there is still hope.

Availability for Switch under the works

We have information from a reliable source that the streaming service is currently working for making an app available also for Nintendo Switch. Furthermore, the console also has other streaming apps available like Youtube and Hulu, so we shouldn’t be surprised if another one arrives.

Reggie Fils-Aime said about the Nintendo Switch:

“What I would say is this: We built the Nintendo Switch to be a world-class gaming device, meaning we want you first and foremost to play games on the system and have an incredibly fun experience.

“We’re talking to a range of companies about other services, companies like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon — things that will come in time.”

Therefore, the guy didn’t rule out the possibility of having more streaming services coming for the console. Nintendo Switch has gained enormous popularity, even though it was released worldwide in most regions only three years ago: in March 2017. The console has a unique concept:  it’s a hybrid console that can be used both as a home console and portable device.

While we would love to know more about the subject, only time will tell for sure when Disney Plus will become available for Nintendo’s Switch console. Until then, the console still packs a load of fun.
