How to uninstall the Facebook app from Android devices
Method 1: Use Google Play
- Launch your Google Play Store
- Tap on the menu options at the top-left of the Play Store page (three horizontal bars)
- Tap on ‘My apps & games’ >> ‘INSTALLED’
- Scroll through the list of installed apps
- Tap on ‘Facebook’ >> tap on ‘UNINSTALL’ to begin the uninstallation process.
Method 2: Use Settings
- Launch the Settings app of your mobile device
- Navigate through to ‘Apps’ and tap on it
- Search through the list of apps to locate Facebook
- Tap on ‘Facebook’ to direct you to its info page.
- On the ‘App info’ page, tap on ‘UNINSTALL’ to uninstall Facebook from your device.
Note: for some Android devices, Facebook is preinstalled as a system app and cannot be deleted from such devices without rooting the device.

- Hold down on the Facebook app till it wriggles

Uninstalling or disabling the Facebook app from your device does not prevent you from accessing your Facebook account, you can always log in using your device’s browser.
