Pokémon Go New Improvements – the Shiny Horsea Comes with a Limited Time

Pokemon Go Fest event is starting in Chicago, and Niantic is celebrating this occasion with a unique Pokémon addition for a limited time. The game launched today, 13 June and the new addition of the Water-type Horsea is all around the world. This time you will see the Horsea much frequently than ever, and maybe you will encounter one Shiny Pokémon Horsea.

The Pokémon Go Fest

The Pokémon Go Fest event has started today, and it ends this Sunday, 16 June. So this increased Horsea is available during the event, but the spawns aren’t limited to the event only. If you can’t attend the Go Fest event in-person, the Shiny Horsea that you catch will retain its unique coloration. So when it evolves, you can add Shiny Seadra and Kingdra to your Pokémon collection.

Also, during the Pokémon Go Fest, Niantic is holding Global Challenges at the same time. Global challenges have players all around the world that are playing with the same goal. If a player achieves their goal, Niantic will offer them some exclusive bonuses in the game, such as additional Candy, or the appearance of Shiny Entei, Suicune, and Raikou.

Besides this, if you want to encounter Cresselia, this is your last chance. Until 18 June, the Legendary Psychic Pokémon is available in Raid Battles. Then, Kyogre will replace it and is staying until 27 June. When it’s time is up, Groudon replaces Kyogre until 10 July. So this is your chance to catch and encounter the rarely Legendaries and their Shiny versions.

Finally, don’t forget that E3 2019 is still going and a lot of hot news is coming with the next installments, such as Pokémon Sword and Shield for Nintendo Switch.
