Gears 5 on Steam Will Be Compatible With Windows 7
Considering Windows 10 more challenging and odd, it could be a reason for the company’s decision to bring Gears 5 to Windows 7 64 bit. Also, recent surveys highly show how people still prefer to run their games or programs on Windows 7, being one of the most stable versions. It offered as well, one of the best experiences so far.
Developers assure us, too, that all the users will be able 100 % to play Gears 5 on Windows 7. They also came with further explanations for their choice. Windows 10 seemed a strong requirement for the game to run, while on Windows 7, they didn’t encounter any issue, especially on the 64-bit version.
What is more interesting is that the Steam version of Gears 5 will also be ready to support the Steam swapping cards, controllers (only partial), cross-system multiplayer, many achievements and much more. And yes, you will need an Xbox account with all the settings done for a profile, to get on Stream.
