Anime these days has become a bit boring. With predictable storylines, anime has lost the hype which it once had. However, Demon Slayer is an exception to this trend. This show is a must-watch because of how beautifully it portrays life. Despite airing for just one season, it has received massive love from both viewers and critics alike. This series is a Japanese anime manga show. It is based on a book of the same name. The first season was such a huge hit that that book almost sold 60 million copies after season one. “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba” was the best seller of February 2020.
Apart from growing a massive fan base, Demon Slayer also boasts of having won the “Anime of the Year”. It has also won awards in the “Best Animation” categories. Ever since the release of its first season, fans have been left wanting for more. After releasing 21 volumes of twists and turns at every corner, The Demon Slayer is set to return with a new season.
Release Date: Demon Slayer Season 2
The first season released almost a year back. Fans have been waiting for the new season ever since. As of yet, there is only an official announcement of the show being renewed for a second season. It is rumored that production had started right before the coronavirus pandemic struck. The virus which has the world in its grip has caused production across many sets to halt. As a result, production has been delayed. This may cause the new season to release hopefully late in 2020, or in early 2021. Don’t worry, we will keep you posted with updates!
Cast: Demon Slayer Season 2
As far as we know, there will be no changes to the cast of the previous season. Natsuki Hanae will be voicing for Tanjiro Kamado while Yoshitsugu Matsuoka will be voicing for Inosuke Hashibira. Meanwhile, Hiro Shimono will be voicing for Zenitsu Agatsuma and Satoshi Hino voicing for Kyojuro Rengoku. Daisuke Hirakawa and Akari Kito will also retain their voice roles. There is no indication that the cast will further expand. The only thing we are sure of is it will fill us with amazement and laughter!
Storyline: Demon Slayer Series
The story revolves around a young boy, Tanjiro who discovers his family secrets and encounters the death of his entire family at the hands of a cruel demon. Soon, he goes on to meet his sister who is also a demon. Faced with horrible issues at a young age, he must take care of himself and try to bring his sister back to the human world. He also tries to figure out a way to avenge his family’s death. Tanjiro becomes what we can call a “Demon Slayer”.
Plot: Demon Slayer Season 2
Season 2 will pick up the story from Season 1. Like its successor, it will focus on Tanjiro. Tanjiro will be searching for the source that has caused death to his family. Will his sister finally become a human again? Does he uncover details about his past? Will he be able to stand up to the challenges he faces during the quest? These are the questions, we hope season 2 will give us answers for.
