Bayonetta 3 is an action game acquired by Platinum Games and published by Nintendo ( America’s ex-president) for the Nintendo Switch. It is the third game in Bayonetta Series, after Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2.

That trailer released in 2017, so the game has been in the way of making for at least three years. This is adequate time to finalize most big-budget games, but some progress cycles can last up to five years, or even longer.
The first game appeared in October 2009; the second game arrived in September 2014. That’s just about five years gap between games, and it’s already been more than five since the second came out.
Perhaps Bayonetta 3 will commence around the end of 2020 — although if that’s the case, it seems like Nintendo and Platinum are waiting until the last minute to tell us.

In it, we see Bayonetta’s ribbon drift down past a blood-red moon, as the protagonist herself gets denounced with a round of onslaughts from a fiery purple foe. She fires back with two new guns, dooms from the onslaught and — well, that’s about it.
The trailer isn’t really supposed to give us a rich swoop into the story or gameplay, just let us know that the game is in the works. In that respect, it gets the job done.
Bayonetta 3 gameplay
We haven’t seen any authentic gameplay from Bayonetta 3 still, but we can expect from few educated guesses, based on the two previous games, Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2. Bayonetta 3 will almost certainly be a fast-paced action game with a high skill awning and a somewhat penalizing complication curve, like its predecessors.
Expect Bayonetta to juggle foes while using both melee attacks and guns. (The new guns she wields in the trailer are called “Whittingham Fair,” not dissimilar from the “Scarborough Fair” guns in the previous games.
The new vehicle section probably is there, animal modifications and Torture Attacks, many of which would impose Freud’s entire canon to parse. Bayonetta 2 improved Bayonetta’s gameplay rather than reinventing it, and we expect the third game to fulfill a similar contour.
