After months of leaks and rumors, we now have the confirmed release date of much-awaited OnePlus Nord. But the specifications for the upcoming budget-friendly phone have been leaked before the official launch date.
The first-ever affordable OnePlus phone will launch via an AR event. We have heard about various expected specifications, pricing, and design for the past several months. Even a dedicated Instagram handle for OnePlus Nord teased the design and appearance of the upcoming smartphone.
Leaked Specifications:
A Romanian e-tailer, evoMAG.ro leaked the specifications of One Plus’s upcoming mid-range phone. The specs mentioned in the website looks legit, and we can somehow confirm that the new phone will have similar settings. Several prominent leakers, who have accurately leaked previously, also claimed that the mentioned specifications are true.
The phone will have 6.55” Full HD+ Super AMOLED display, which comes with 4300 mAH battery. OnePlus Nord will be potentially powered by Qualcomm SDM765 Snapdragon 765G Octa-Core processor. The website mentioned two variants, one consisting of 4GB RAM while the other 12GB RAM. The phones in OnePlus Nord line up will have up to 256GB storage.
On the camera department, there would be a triple camera setup on the back. The cameras will consist of a 64MP primary sensor, 16MP, and 2MP sensor. Meanwhile, Beebom reported that there would be a four-camera setup at the back that consists of 48MP (OIS+EIS), 8MP, 5MP, and 2MP sensors. However, the front camera will be a punch-hole consisting of 32MP and an 8MP sensor.
Launch Date: July 21, 2020, via AR Event
OnePlus Nord is going to release through an online event OnePlus Nord AR App. OnePlus announced that the users could watch the online event through the app, available at the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. The best part of the AR even is that people will have hands-on experience through AR at their home.
