The most favorite French animated show ‘Wakfu’ has earned all the popularity from the day it got released on Netflix. 8 years ago, this series was released in 2012 and since then it has become everyone’s favorite. Produced by Pictonovo, France Television, Frakas Productions, and Ankama Animations, this series is all about the games which have been smartly planned. This show has been directed by Anthony Roux, and France is the country of its origin.
Release date: Wakfu Season 4
The third season of Wakfu got premiered on September 2, 2017. On Netflix, it got premiered on April 6, 2018. On May 7, 2020, all the Wakfu fans got to hear the good news when Ankama announced that season 4 is currently on development. A dub for season 3 is also available, which uses an entirely new voice cast which is based in Los Angeles. The official release date is not available, yet. The news of the renewal of the show for season 4 is very much confirmed. It will probably be released before this year ends.
Plot: Wakfu Season 4
Talking about the plot, this series involves many characters but the story revolves mainly around a twelve-year-old protagonist of the show, named Yugo. Yugo has a couple of close friends and together they are known as ‘The Brotherhood of the Tofu’.
This show involves various games, and therefore the whole story is based on a very interesting and mysterious fantasy-filled planet. One can see many mystical things happening in the show.
It is very interesting to see how this child is taken up by the hunter and he takes care of Yugo until he reaches an age where he can manage his living, as per his promise.
As soon as he reaches the age of 12, he realizes the true meaning of his life. His mission is not only to find his family but also to free the world from all evil. It is fascinating to see Yugo and his group of friends in this mission. Another central character of the show is a 13-year-old princess named Amalia Sheran Sharm. It is interesting to see how this little princess helps Yugo to find his family.
Later, in the further episodes, it is witnessed that how both Yugo and Amalia show the strong desire to be with each other knowing about all the difficulties they may face due to their different race. There are many other characters who make interesting episodic entries in the show. This show is available in both English and French version.
