First released in 2009, the American drama series, Vampire Diaries has been absolutely adored but the audience. With magnificent ratings, the show has a success of eight seasons till now. The show started on a note where a young girl meets a young boy and just in a click feels a connection but the twist here was she didn’t know that the guy and his brother were a Vampire. Even if the show hits us with a brand new season it will probably be after the current situation. As the pandemic has had a major impact on the production of many of our favorite shows. Ensuring the safety of cast & crew members is foremost for now. We as fans can just pray and hope for the coming out of season 9 soon and with a bang!
As shooting hasn’t even started, therefore, there are no updates on the release of its trailer. It will drop sometime before the actual release of the show.

Cast: Vampire Diaries Season 9
The three most favorite and loved characters have to come back on the show as it wouldn’t be the same without them, Nina Dobrev as Elena Gilbert, Paul Wesley as Stefan Salvatore, Ian Somerhalder as Damon Salvator. These will be seen back for season 9. We might notice some new faces on the show, but again there has been no official confirmation regarding that. Other than them, these characters will also be seen back on the show, Zach Roerig as Matt Donovan, Matt Davis as Alaric Saltzman, Candice King as Caroline Forbes, Nathalie Kelley as Sybil, St. John Kristen Gutoskie as Seline.

Season eight of the show did end on perfect terms and left us wondering. Hence, season nine will pick up from where the previous season ended. For now what we know is, Bonnie and Damon will experience some major changes in their life. As we saw at the end of season 8, Elena started to fall in love with Damon, we will notice twists in their love lives. You will also notice different reactions to Damon’s & Elena’s conclusion, which will be quite an interesting conflict to watch. The show has something new and different to offer in every season.
