The Battle Royale version of PUBG is one of the most exciting games of the year, but several issues are trailing the game which the developers are trying hard to resolve before making the next update available.
One of the issues affecting PUBG is the connection issue which can either be from the players’ internet settings or PUBG’s servers.
Fix: PUBG connection issue
Here are some solutions you can try out to fix the connection issue related to PUBG you can try out on your own.
Solution 1: Preliminary checks
In order to fix the PUGB connection issue, there are some preliminary workarounds you should carry out which can resolve the issue.
- Exit all programs or apps that may be running in the background
- Check the graphics settings on your PC
- Check your antivirus settings and add PUBG to the exception list of your antivirus.
- Check your firewall settings and restore to default by accessing the control panel of your PC > Windows firewall > Restore defaults
Note: After attempting the preliminary checks enlisted above, you can attempt to launch PUGB application on your PC. Check to see if the connection error still occurs. If it still persists, you should troubleshoot your internet connection.
Solution 2: Troubleshoot internet connection
Here are series of options applicable in troubleshooting your internet connection:
- Restart your internet connection
- Switch to a stronger internet connection (preferably a Wi-Fi network)
- Update your network LAN card driver from the device manager of your PC to the latest version.
