GTA 6 Release Date Update – 4k Resolution and High-Dynamic Range

The long waited next Grand Theft Auto will be coming to PS5, Xbox Two and possibly Google Stadia.

After the great success of Red Dead Redemption 2, gamers are eagerly waiting for Rockstar next game. Rockstar is an American video game publisher, subsidiary of Take-Two Interactive with more 250 million copies shipped worldwide. With the new hardware technology in the horizon and considering the high quality of its latest games we can only expect an amazing gaming experience coming in the future.

Recent comments from Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick during a conference call revealed the interest the company has in investing heavily in Google Stadia’s next in line hardware, besides the traditional Sony and Microsoft’s. Google Stadia is a cloud gaming service capable of streaming video games in 4K resolution with high-dynamic range provided that players gave access to a very high-quality internet connection.

“You know the promise of being able to sign on to a service with virtually no barriers, without a box in between, and being able to play our games on any device whatsoever around the world, and to do it with low latency, well that’s very compelling if that can be delivered, and the folks at Google minimally have said it will be delivered and will be delivered in relatively short order,” said Strauss.

“Conceptually we want to be where the consumer is, and we’ll support new entrants and we are a believer in streaming services,” he added.

Video-game streaming services are nothing new, there were many who launched cloud-based game subscription however none of them were successful. This is why users’ opinions on Google Stadia are mixed and there are no high hopes about it, at least not in the immediate future.

There were no games specified during the call to be launched on Stadia, however it seems that it is something the company is clearly looking into it and considering it.
