Snapchat Easter Egg Hunt Download Available for Snapchat With New Features

The exciting augmented reality game returns to Snapchat this weekend. Snapchat Easter Egg Hunt 2019 is similar to the Pokémon Go game and enables users to walk around the Snapchat Map in order to gather Easter eggs. There were more than a million eggs hidden in the map last year, waiting to be collected.

A notice that showed up in the user’s app advised players to collect as many eggs as they can through April 21 and add them to their basket by tapping a close-by egg on the Map.

Players can share their location in the map to other users or stay in ghost mode, which doesn’t display their location at all. What we are saying with this is that all Snapchat users can play even if they don’t want other people to know or be able to see their location displayed.

Read below the instructions on how to play the Snapchat Easter Egg Hunt game:

Open your Snapchat app and go to Snap Map in the application. By opening the camera screen and swiping down, you can access the map. You will be able to see your friend’s stories in the map as well, once you open it, and also see the eggs in the application, in all kind of colors.

Easter eggs are each worth one point and the Golden Eggs are worth five points each. You can play contra your friends, and you can also check a worldwide leaderboard to find out who is at the top with the most points earned.

How to capture Golden Eggs

You can find Golden Eggs in hidden small bundles of colored eggs on the map. When you encounter an egg, golden or colored, to capture them, use the rear-facing camera. The eggs don’t disappear once collected so you can make it up from behind. Golden Eggs can also be seen standing alone.
