Storyline

The story of the game is based on character Aloy. Aloy lives in the futuristic version of earth that is run by the mechanical beast. She tries to solve her mysterious past and how the earth becomes like this.

She has a special device that is called Focus, which helps her to sense the things and move the hostile planet.

Throughout the journey, Aloy faces many attacks by mechanical beasts. She finds a plan about ending human existence and traces the origin of her family. The game ends in a way that leads to the gamers in question. Thus, the mysteries will be solved in this sequel.

The plot of the game

The Horizon Forbidden West will continue from where it was left in Horizon zero dawn. We only have a trailer, so we don’t know much about the plot of the game.

An official statement on the PlayStation blog says that this new chapter will continue “Aloy’s story as she moves west to a far-future America to brave a majestic, but dangerous frontier where she’ll face awe-inspiring machines and mysterious new threats.”

It’s not much help when determining the story, but it does hint at the game’s new location.

Gameplay

From the name of the game, we can assume that the story of the game will take place near San Francisco. There a beautiful coastline featured in the trailer. There is also a variety of mountains and plains which are kind of mandatory in open-world games.

From the trailer, we can glimpse that there will be heavy underwater gameplay. It will be exciting to play the game underwater.

An official of the game development said that there will be no loading pages in the game. That means it will be easy for the Aloy to move from one place to another with the help of a man without any loading pages.
