All three cover athletes have now been announced.

2K has revealed their Legend Edition cover, renamed the Mamba Forever Edition in honor of Kobe Bryant.
We all expected it, but 2K has gone above and beyond with their complete rebrand of the edition as a tribute to Kobe.
Zion Williamson next-gen cover athlete
The New Orleans Pelicans power forward and #1 pick Zion Williamson gets this amazing NBA 2K21 cover for PS5 and Xbox Series X.
The new consoles don’t have a release date yet, but when they do arrive NBA 2K21 players will have this amazing cover art for the game!
Damian Lillard cover for current-gen
Trail Blazers PG Damian Lillard will be a cover athlete for NBA 2K21!
However, he’s only the cover star for current generation platforms.

Release date confirmed
Along with the Kobe reveal, 2K has confirmed the release date for NBA 2K21.
