The WWE 2KXX series may be a bit controversial due to some questionable design choices, but each title in the series continues to add content and changes which makes it a favorite among some fans. The latest entry in the series was well-received by fans, as it included fresh content and revamped mechanics which made the gameplay experience even better.
In recent weeks fans of the series have become excited as an official announcement date was coming. Some theories about the superstars featured on the covers led to the heated debates among the community as everybody has his or her favorites.
2K announced that the anticipated cover would be revealed on August 5 along with a variety of details about the game and some footage. The announcement set fans on fires, and the official reveal did not disappoint.
The upcoming version of the popular fighting title will sport Becky Lynch and Roman Reigns on the cover, with both being fan-favorites. The style of the cover is minimalistic, highlighting the name of the game on the left and the two stars on the right, with Lynch being in the front as The Man has soared to new fame in recent months. Reign’s has been back for just a few months after a medical issue forced him to be absent from several main events.
The gameplay video is quite short, but the moves look swift and fluid. The MyCareer mode will allow players to create male or female superstars and a host of new features will be revealed at a later date.
