It has been three years and there is no news whatsoever on the whereabouts of the third season of Good Morning Call. The series is a live-action adaptation of the manga series co-produced by Fuji TV in Japan and Netflix globally. The latter is yet to announce the fate of the show. Is it canceled or renewed for another season? It did have an acceptable rating of 7.9 out of 10 on IMDb. Keep reading to make an informed guess regarding the series!

Good Morning Call Season 3: Release Date
The show premiered on Netflix on February 12, 2016, running until June 10, 2016. The second season, titled Good Morning Call: Our Campus Days, came a year later on September 22, 2017. Per the show’s social media, a discussion is currently going on about the third season. However, there is no further information about the same. If you were to take us on our word, I would say that Season 3 is a long time coming and will finally release in late 2020 or early 2021.
Good Morning Call Season 3: the Cast
The romantic-comedy TV show is studded with good-looking and charismatic cast. Haruka Fukuhara and Shunya Shiraishi play the main protagonists of the show, Nao Yoshikawa and Hisashi Uehara respectively. We also see Moe Arai as Marina Konno, Shugo Nagashima as Yuichi Mitsuishi in the show. Other actors include Kentarô Itô as Issei Sata, Kôya Nagasawa as Jun Abe, Erica Mori as Yuri Uehara. If Season 3 ever comes to be, the characters are expected to reprise their roles in it.
Good Morning Call: the Storyline
It is in Tokyo that the show takes place. The story spins around the indifferent-turned-love relationship between the protagonists of the show Nao and Hisashi. Without anyone’s knowledge at school, both of them live together as flatmates in an apartment in Tokyo. Nao is seemingly indifferent to the rather handsome and popular Hisashi at first. However, she soon develops feelings for him; He is still not over her crush, Yuri, who got married to his brother.
Later, Nao and Hisashi confess their love for each other and start dating. It was not long that life happened and their relationship got under strain. With not being able to spend time together and other challenges, they decided to part ways. Now Nao has to undergo a personal journey in order to re-invent herself.
We have no clue what Season 3 will be about. The two can reunite again in the future and the story can go from there. But so far, there is not a word, so it will be wise to keep guesses to yourselves.
Good Morning Call Season 3: Trailer
The trailer is not out yet. We will have a better understanding of the show once it does. However, we have said it before and I’ll say it again that the series has not been renewed.
