The FIFA 21 trailer arrived with a bang, and we finally got to see some gameplay.
However with the trailer released, what else does EA have in store for us?
Latest News – Pre-Season Promo
Pre-Season has been announced as the new promo for FIFA 20/21.
As to be expected, there is a ton of new features in the promo, which can all be viewed right here.
Pre-Season has all new objectives and SBC’s, which can unlock rewards for BOTH FIFA 20 and FIFA 21.
There are upgrades for Champions League & Europa League special items which are still competing in the tournaments, alongside new Road to FInal UCL/UEL items.

Inspired by lockdown life, Kylian Mbappe and friends took us into the new game, with community and togetherness at the heart of the message.

Hopefully that means online gaming, including FUT co-op, is much improved this year.
Trailer takeaways
The FIFA 21 trailer has arrived!
The biggest takeaway is FUT co-op. While teased, so we don’t know quite how it will work, we hope we can win packs and dominate with friends.
There was also a big feature moment for Volta, but also minimal actual gameplay. Hopefully a further gameplay trailer comes soon!
FIFA 21 Cover
The cover has been revealed.
Kylian Mbappe fronts ever edition of the game. He’s the perfect player to take the franchise into the next generation of consoles.
Other stars like Erling Haaland, Joao Felix, and Trent Alexander-Arnold also featured in the trailer.
Next-Gen Teaser Trailer
It was a surprisingly quiet EA Play for FIFA 21, however we did get an EA Sports next-gen teaser.
“Feel Next Level” is seemingly EA’s catchphrase for their move onto the PS5 and Xbox Series X.

Volta
It was brought in as EA’s showpiece new feature for FIFA 20 but in all honesty, it’s been a tad disappointing.
A new trailer for the street mode, perhaps with a more arcadey feel could get fans back onside on the recent feature.
Next Gen
The dire year that has been 2020 does hold some promise, with the Next Gen consoles PS5 and Xbox Series X set to go ahead as planned (fingers’ crossed!).
One piece of news to come out of EA Play was about FIFA 21 on next-gen.
If you buy FIFA 21 on Xbox One or PS4 you can get a free upgrade once the new hardware arrives.
Graphics
The graphics shown in the trailer were reasonably good.
It’s still early days to confirm exactly what FIFA 21 is going to look like, however, we do have some idea of the direction it is going based on what we’ve seen in FIFA 20.
Graphics in FIFA 20 were good, to say the least, and this was no doubt due to the powerful gameplay engine in use – Frostbite 3.
The game engine, created by DICE, was originally made for Battlefield and used extensively in first-person shooters.
If they end up using the same engine for FIFA 21 also, we should still expect a great looking game.
