season two will be coming back this time bigger and better to show anime fans what the Shiba siblings are up to this time, presumably in their second year of high school. They cover the visitor story arc.
About the series
This series is a high school anime based Japanese novel. Action, fantasy, and science fiction are its genre. It was first released in 2014 and was written by Tsutomu Sato. This story revolves around the lives of siblings Tatsuya and Miyuki, who enter into a high school to sharpen their magical potential. They live in a world where magic can be controlled using technology.
Though they belong to a lower class Tatsuya’s talent with his ability to control magic makes him stand out. Also, there is a movie that has been released called ‘ Irregular at magic high School the movie: The girl who calls the stars ‘ in 2016. The movie was criticized to be poorly executed and to have less clarity. The movie was aired on four different networks and finally made available on Netflix. It premiered in Japan on June 17, 2017.
The cast of the anime
The series stars Yuuichi Nakamura as the voice of Tatsuya Shiba, Saori Hayami as the voice of Miyuki Shiba, Kana Hanazawa as the voice of Mayumi Saegusa, Yumi Uchiyama as the voice of Erika Chiba, Yuiko Tatsumi as the voice of Shizuku Kitayama and many more supporting actors. The cast will probably be retained in the second season as well, as the same characters have to be portrayed in this season. Since season 2 is yet to be released we do not know if there will be any new additions to the cast.
Release Date of Irregular at Magic High School season 2
In 2015 Madhouse confirmed that season 2 will be coming up. Very little information was found about the making of the second season. Apparently it was supposed to air in 2017, but the movie “The Girl Who Calls The Stars” was made as a result it delayed the second season. As of now, the release date is yet to be confirmed. Studies have been conducted and some reports have shown that it might contain 13 episodes. It failed to come out in 2019 and the audience has to wait for the date to be officially confirmed.
Plot Of Season 2
This season is being directed by Risaka Yoshida. The storyline of the second season has shown to have connections with the first season and the movie. The movie has been adapted from the volumes 10 and 11 of the series. It shows that Tatsuya and Miyuki have completed their first year. In the second season, the siblings might be back and continue their life in the second year. As per the novel, the characters face problems when androids are infected by parasites and rival magicians.
