Younger, the American comedy-drama series, is back with season 7. And fans are delighted. Darren Star is the creator and producer of the much-applauded drama series. The 2005 novel of Pamela Redmond Satran is the inspiration for the show.
Season 1 of the show first premiered in March 2015. Besides, it has six more seasons with the seventh season in line. There a total of 72 episodes in the entire six seasons. Season 7 of the show makes it the longest-running TV drama on TV Land.

Younger Season 7: Release date
Unfortunately, no release date has yet been confirmed. In July 2019, TV land announced the renewal of Younger for season 7. The shooting for season 7 was likely to begin in March. But the current situation of the world has thrown everything off track.
Shooting locations were shutting down, making it impossible for production to begin. Season 7 would have likely been on air by June 2020, keeping in mind the previous patterns of release. But the recent pandemic has ruined our chances of watching season 7 anytime soon.
According to sources, production of season 7 may begin sometime in August or September. We’re hoping for the best.

We’re safely assuming and hoping that the cast of the previous seasons is returning. The leading players of the game are needed to take the story of “Younger” forward. Cast members from the earlier seasons include:

Younger Season 7: Plot
We don’t know much about the plot of season 7. Darren Star, the creator of the series, likes to keep things under a wrap until after the release. However, season 6 left us on a cliffhanger. Clues were given for what to expect in the upcoming season. In the finale, we saw Charles proposing Liza. We’ll likely find out her answer in season 7. She might find herself in a love triangle. Although she is in a relationship with Charles, we can see her heart is still with Josh.
The secret of Liza’s age is out Season 7 might just concentrate on a new plotline. The next plotline shall involve Kelsey, Liza, and Charles. Since, Kelsey is back at the Millennial, after going on her own. Things might change for her at the publishing house.
Season 7 might focus on Kelsey a bit more than the previous seasons. It would set her up, as it is likely that Kelsey spin-off is in consideration.
