The plot of The Last of Us
The Last of Us is set in a post-apocalyptic world. The game has successfully completed its two seasons. When the world is suffering from a disease, the only hope to prepare the medicine is a young girl Ellie who is naturally immune to the disease. The doctors plan to kill her to use her for medicinal purposes, but her foster father, Joel, saves her. Humanity is thus doomed. Based on the premise, the whole story is built up. The world is dealing with zombies as a result of the disease, and the player needs to survive through it.
